Career Opportunity Trim It All is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as an Operations Manager. This is a full-time, permanent position. Reporting to the owner, the Operations Manager will be responsible for owning day-to-day operations and turning complexity into clear, repeatable systems. This role exists to ensure that: Sales commitments turn into profitable, on-time execution Warehouse, shop, and installation productivity are measurable Scope, inventory, and payments are controlled Ownership is removed from daily fire-fighting This is a hands-on leadership role . You will be on the floor, in the warehouse, in the office, and on job sites not just behind a desk. Key Responsibilities Sales Operations Handoff Design and enforce a clear handoff process from sales to operations Ensure scope is finalized, documented, and controlled Prevent work from starting on incomplete or outdated information Establish formal change-management rules when customers or builders make changes Warehouse, Millwork & Inventory Control Define and track productivity for: Millwork / trim production Warehouse picking and staging Own inventory discipline to prevent: Over-ordering, under-ordering, emergency material shortages. Establish supplier selection standards and pricing controls Reduce owner involvement in purchasing decisions over time by systemizing pricing and supplier rules Project Management Oversight Directly manage Project Managers Clearly define PM responsibilities (execution and scheduling not operations) Support PMs with strong upstream processes so they are not chasing missing information Create clear rules for handling builder changes and custom jobs Office Admin & Payment Enforcement Oversee office administration as a governance function Enforce payment milestones: Deposits before production Trim paid before back finish Extras delivered only when paid Back the admin team when deliveries or work must be stopped due to non-payment Sales & Operational KPIs Build visibility into: Quotes issued vs jobs converted Conversion rates by salesperson Time from quote to close Frequency of job changes Provide leadership with clear, actionable metrics Software Implementation (Cineapps) Lead operational implementation and adoption once the system is ready for use Define usage standards, workflows, and enforcement Train teams and eliminate parallel systems Leadership & Accountability Directly manage warehouse, shop, purchasing, project managers, office admin, and operational scheduling Make sound decisions even when full buy-in takes time Create clarity, structure, and accountability across teams Key Qualifications Minimum 10 years experience working in manufacturing and production environments, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Relevant post-secondary education. A degree in business administration, management/supply chain management is an asset. Strong analytical abilities and a willingness to be a hands on leader Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment Experience with CRM systems, Excel, Stack, Cieblink, Cineapps, and construction industry software.
