Location: Remote in Ontario with occasional on site travel. Must reside outside the Greater Toronto Area Language: Strong written and spoken English required Background Check Requirement: Standard background check required About the Opportunity This is a meaningful opportunity to help shape a culturally responsive approach to Indigenous youth wellness across Ontario. You will join a collaborative implementation team focused on improving mental health and substance use services through strong community partnerships and equity driven practices. Working within a provincial public health initiative, you will build relationships with Indigenous communities, service providers, and system partners to support a model of care that reflects local priorities and traditional wellness practices. Your work will directly contribute to more accessible, coordinated, and culturally grounded support for young people. Your Responsibilities You will collaborate with Indigenous communities and partners to support implementation of a culturally responsive youth wellness model In this role, you will build and sustain trusting relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and system stakeholders You will support coordination of complex mental health and substance use initiatives, ensuring services remain culturally appropriate You will help integrate equity, inclusion, and traditional wellness perspectives into planning and delivery You will contribute to provincial initiatives that strengthen collaboration across the youth mental health system You will participate in one to two site visits per year to engage directly with community partners Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of experience in public health, youth mental health, Indigenous wellness, health equity, or program implementation Lived experience or significant professional experience working with Indigenous communities Strong knowledge of Ontarios youth mental health and substance use system Experience in project coordination, implementation, or community based health initiatives Ability to work independently while building strong, respectful partnerships Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel Note from the Hiring Manager We are looking for someone who truly values relationships and understands that community voice must guide the work.
