Summary Ongoing integration projects require an additional member on the Systems Admin team to facilitate the creation of virtual machines, managing existing virtual machines, managing Office 365 and Active Directory changes, DFS changes, managing and publishing Apps in Parallels, and managing Intune and client app deployment. A team member may also be called upon to assist with an integration on site across Canada with deploying network equipment, PCs, migrating existing VMs and user accounts/email. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and network components. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure minimal downtime. Manage user accounts, permissions, Group Policy in Active Directory. Implement and enforce security protocols, including patching and vulnerability management. Manage Parallels VDI environment Manage backup software and disaster recovery planning. Administer virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune). Document system configurations, policies, and procedures. Provide escalation support for complex technical issues. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience with Windows Server (20162022) and some minor Linux environments. Knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPN). Some programming skills (PowerShell, VBS, Batch) Familiarity with virtualization and storage systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
