Job Description

Airswift is seeking a Contracts Advisor to support one of our Oil & Gas clients in Calgary, AB on a 7month contract.Category & Sourcing StrategyActively support the Engineering and Mechanical Construction strategy (including civil, facilities maintenance, and turnaround agreements) in alignment with the Category Work Plan.Support the development of engineering and mechanical sourcing strategies through spend analysis, market intelligence, and evaluation of sourcing value levers.Prepare and coordinate strategic proposal documentation and oversee the endtoend sourcing process.Evaluate supplier responses, prepare clarifications, and support the supplier award process.Carry out evaluations, lead consensus scoring sessions, and manage supplier award processes in accordance with Company policies.Contract ManagementAssist Business Units in ongoing contract management, including contract formation, rate analysis, reviewing contract variations, and monitoring supplier exit plans.Lead the evaluation and development of commercial structures for highrisk or highcomplexity contracts.Draft award recommendations for leadership approval for RFx projects.Complete legal review of terms and conditions and engage Legal teams when needed.Prepare, maintain, and administer contracts with global, national, and regional service providers according to company standards.Enter and maintain contract information in Ariba/SAP and other tracking tools.Supplier Performance & Benefits TrackingAssist Category Management in maintaining supplier performance KPIs.Track financial and nonfinancial benefits by monitoring supplier performance.Provide negotiation and analytical support during tactical sourcing processes, including RFPs and sole/singlesource events.Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate closely with Business Units, Supply Chain teams, HSE, Legal, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, and suppliers.Participate in meetings and maintain strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders.Adopt a strong one team culture.Process Improvement & ComplianceIdentify and address issues related to processes and procedures, escalating unresolved issues as necessary.Ensure alignment with business unit goals, standards, policies, and procedures.Support an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.Perform other duties as required.QualificationsEducation & ExperiencePostsecondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.10+ years of experience in contracting activities, preferably in the oil and gas industry.Proficiency using SAP Ariba (Sourcing and Contracts modules).Skills & CompetenciesWellorganized, detailoriented, enthusiastic, and confident.Strong judgment, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.Ability to work independently in a fastpaced, dynamic, and deadlinedriven environment.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, negotiate, and build strong relationships at all organizational levels.Adaptable to changing priorities, with the ability to multitask effectively.Teamoriented with a willingness to support projects of varying sizes and complexity.
