Clean Harbors in Corunna, Ontario, is hiring a Facility Operations Manager for their Lambton Facilities. This individual is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Incineration facility and helping generate ideas for unit performance improvement and helping drive the successful implementation of those ideas by working with operations, engineering, and senior leadership. Auditing the personnel and the processes throughout the shift to ensure proper safety practices are in place and safety policies and procedures are being followed.Directly manage a shift of 5 incineration employees operating the Sarnia Incineration unit.Help drive Continuous Improvement of the unit through data analysis and improvement idea generation through collaboration with operations staff. Always driving improvement in culture and mentality throughout the shift.Cover immediate supervision needs for TDU and rest of site on nights and weekends.Monitor KPIs and work with operations to determine corrective actions when issues arise.Act as incident commander for any on-site emergencies (training provided).Prepare Daily reports for the incinerator.Keep a shift log outlining key items from the shiftEnsure all operations you manage are in compliance with all permits, regulations, agreements and codes.Investigate employee concerns and implement corrective actions.Other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications5+ years of previous experience supervising within an industrial operations environment with a focus on improving your operational performance .Experience supervising in a union environment is an assetStrong analytical skills and demonstrated success using data and analysis to support decision making and troubleshootingCan help drive Continuous Improvement in the unit through analysis, dedication, and attention to detailValid Full G Drivers license required.Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of timeAbility to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day, climb ladders, bend, crouch and stand for long periods throughout shift.Physically able to act as an Incident Commander in the event of an emergency.Join our team today!
