Job Description: We are ready to take our analytics and AI capabilities to the next leveland we''re looking for a Data Scientist Coop with strong fullstack development skills to help us do it. This role sits within the Advanced Analytics team in OLG''s Enterprise Analytics department. You will help design, build, and deploy endtoend AIpowered web applications, turning experimental models and GenAI ideas into real, usable products. YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME Reporting to the Sr Advanced Analytics Manager, you will be empowered to: Build and prototype Generative AI applications using Python, LLM APIs, LangChain, and vector databases Design and develop fullstack web applications that integrate AI models into userfacing tools Frontend: Streamlit, React, or similar Backend: Python (FastAPI, Flask) and API development Collaborate with analysts and senior analytics professionals to translate business problems into AIdriven web solutions Develop and deploy interactive dashboards, internal tools, and AI assistants that support real business workflows Perform prompt engineering, data wrangling, and visualization to improve model quality and user experience Use SQL to retrieve and prepare data from OLG''s Hadoopbased data lake for model training and inference Apply software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), documentation, and basic testing Support experimentation, iteration, and continuous improvement of deployed AI solutions WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME Education: Must be enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program and possess a valid work permit (if applicable) for the duration of the term. Technical Skill: Strong Python programming skills Experience or coursework in data science, machine learning, or analytics Exposure to Generative AI frameworks and tools (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API, Hugging Face) Experience building web applications or interactive tools: Frontend: Streamlit, React, or similar Backend: Flask, FastAPI, or equivalent Solid understanding of data workflows (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows Nice to have skill: Experience deploying apps (cloud platforms, containers, or internal environments) Exposure to REST APIs, authentication, or basic system design concepts Interest in AI product development and humancentered design BENEFITS OF JOINING THE WINNING TEAM Growth Focus: Become your best self with access to new opportunities and personalized support programs.
