As our new Early Career Hydrogeologist , you''ll join a group of professionals that include hydrogeologists and hydrologists, engineers, geochemists, surficial geologists, ecologists, geomorphologists, technologists, technicians and environmental scientists to work in a dynamic and collaborative work environment on multi-disciplinary projects. Responsibilities Conduct field data collection, entry, and organization with the Groundwater Modeling team Be responsible for data processing and management, and for analyzing large and complex datasets Support the preparation of high-quality technical reports and proposals Project coordination Work collaboratively under the mentorship and supervision of senior and intermediate technical staff Working @ SLR With us, there is no doubt you''ll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge. Final agreed upon compensation will be commensurate with individual education, professional designation, experience, internal parity, and location. Full-time, permanent role with opportunities for professional growth and advancement Qualifications Minimum two years of experience in hydrology, geomorphology, groundwater, and groundwater field methods Degree in Hydrogeology or a related discipline Proficiency with R, Python and/or a background in computer science and other applicable programming languages Swiftwater training, ATV/UTV/Argo Safe Operations certifications are desirable Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Geoscientist in Training (G.I.T.), Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) in BC would be an asset Flexibility and willingness to travel for fieldwork Strong communication skills Valid BC driver''s license This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
