Please note this is a temporary position ending approximately February 26, 2027. Level: As per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement. Pay Rate: Starting at $21.50 per hour in accordance with the UNIFOR Collective Agreement, or commensurate with experience. This role includes a $2.00 per hour language premium. Employees based in Iqaluit are also eligible for a Northern Living Allowance of $8.89 per hour Duties and Responsibilities Interested candidates should be able to perform the following duties and responsibilities: Process reservations; Issue tickets; Participate in IROP response; Overflow calls from external call center as required; Complete medical and duty travel requests; Provide service in Inuktitut, or other Inuit languages; Assist the Customer Service Agents with language requirements; Be present at the departure gate to make announcements in Inuktitut, or other Inuit language, when requested; Disseminate information; Serve as a liaison between the customers and the Customer Service Agents to respond to any concerns; Assist the training department as needed for translation purposes; Participate in special events as required; Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications : Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must be fluently bilingual in Inuktitut and English. Fluency in Inuktitut will be assessed during the screening process. Possess a strong working knowledge of Sabre System; Must possess basic computer and technical skills; Must be fluently bilingual in Inuktitut and English, French is an asset; Must be familiar with all aspects paperwork/documentation for all passenger service functions; Must possess strong communication, and interpersonal skills; Proven customer service skills; Works well in team environment; Must be adept at handling multiple tasks, and prioritizing duties; Willing to assist in all areas of passenger services; Willing to work irregular hours of operation and shift work; and Ability to obtain and retain an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada. Please note: Relocation assistance is not available for this position. The successful candidate must be located in Iqaluit, NU or Ottawa, ON. Closing date: February 5, 2026
