Job Overview Murphy''s Mutts is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Dog Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle pets of all sizes. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs and cats. Assess the condition of pets'' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area to ensure a safe environment for pets and staff. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets'' grooming needs and any health concerns observed during grooming. Provide exceptional customer service by building rapport with clients and addressing their questions or concerns. Handle heavy lifting when managing larger breeds or multiple pets during appointments. Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best care possible. Experience Previous experience in dog grooming is mandatory Strong customer service skills are essential to create a welcoming environment for clients and their pets. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger animals or equipment. A genuine love for animals and commitment to their health and happiness is crucial in this role.
