Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic and Store Front Employee to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service while enjoying high-quality baked goods and pastries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food production and preparation. Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to meet customer demand. Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail. Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring they are presented attractively. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and store front areas, adhering to food safety standards. Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions they may have. Handle food safely, following all relevant health regulations and guidelines. Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Skills Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry preparation is highly desirable. Strong background in food production, food handling, and culinary practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, along with strong knife skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry. Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
