Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with minimum 3 years experience to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, and experience operating various machining equipment. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision components in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a solid understanding of blueprint reading, CAD software like SolidWorks, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Preference given to candidate who worked with Mazak machines in the past. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate manufacturing of components Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications for complex machining tasks Utilize hand tools and power tools as needed for assembly or finishing processes Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives following lean manufacturing principles Skills Proven experience with CNC programming and operation Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining processes Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD software such as SolidWorks or other CAD programs Ability to use precision measurement tools including calipers for quality checks Familiarity with machining operations involving CNC lathe and CNC milling machines Knowledge of basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations in machining tasks Experience with hand tools, power tools and assembly processes Ability to operate forklifts is a plus but not required Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction This position is integral to our manufacturing operations, requiring attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality.
