We are currently seeking a qualified Journeyman Millwright (433A) to service our General Motors site in Oshawa, ON. Wages $41.85/hr. plus 10% Night Shift Premium ($4.18/hr.) Schedule Shift - 3rd Shift (Night) coverage as per the CBA; Weekends and overtime as required. Responsibilities Work closely with other maintenance technicians and trades persons to address facility needs and equipment operations; Performs Preventative Maintenance and Repairs of Industrial Facility machinery and mechanical equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrication, cooling and exhaust systems, pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors; Conduct routine inspection and testing of machinery and equipment for operations; Operate hoisting and lifting devices; Troubleshoot Facility equipment failures to ensure minimal downtime; Performs mechanical repairs to correct or adjust any facility malfunction(s); Assemble, install, calibrate and align machinery and equipment to ensure accuracy; Ensures timely and proper completion of all work orders including documentation; Practice and enforce all company and site policies, safety protocols and procedures; Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic or Millwright; A valid License (433A) with Skilled Trades Ontario; Promotes and exhibits strong safety practices; Experience in manufacturing facilities; Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and pumps; Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; Experience in facility maintenance; Available for overnight shifts and flex-time schedules are required; Ability to commute to General Motors in Oshawa, ON for work.
