As a Receiving Coordinator, you are responsible for keeping track of all materials, stock and equipment that is received in the Shipping Department. The main duties and responsibilities of a Receiving Coordinator include inventory reporting, verifying, and approving inbound shipments and loading or unloading of materials. Duties & Responsibilities: Manages the in bound shipments and receipt of all products, raw materials, and supplies in the most efficient manner. Receive all parts that are shipped in, manually making sure they are received in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received. Physically count and track packages and materials received, ensuring alignment with final inventory records. Coordinate with the Procurement department after final verification to ensure system accuracy. Pack and ship orders to internal and external customers, including assembling, labeling, and sealing boxes by hand. Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.) Traces and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments. Stand and walk for extended periods on the Production Floor throughout the shift. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control and monitoring for any discrepancies. Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately. Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed. Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude. Collaborates with service providers and all others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Collaborates with different internal departments to ensure the productivity and function of raw materials is accurately stored and readily distributed. Provides additional backup support for the Logistics Department. Will perform other duties as required by Management. Skills & Qualification Required: 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment with consistent standing, lifting, and manual handling of goods. Good written and verbal communication skills along with mathematical skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office platform. Word, excel, outlook etc. Detail oriented High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Ability to work in a production environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment such as: CSA-approved safety shoes Hair nets and beard nets (if applicable) Trimmed nails and no nail polish per food safety standards No jewelry or loose clothing Clean uniform and other hygiene measures per GMP and company standards Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 6 months Pay: $18.00 per hour Benefits: Casual dress On-site parking Work Location: In person
