Job Overview We are seeking a reliable, safety-minded Warehouse Operations Driver to join our team. This role is a hands-on position that blends local driving and delivery responsibilities with day-to-day warehouse operations. You will be responsible for safely operating a delivery truck for scheduled and on-demand local deliveries, while also supporting shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, and general warehouse organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in customer-facing delivery work, and is equally comfortable jumping in to support warehouse activities. Responsibilities Safely operate a company delivery truck to complete local deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and professional service to customers. Load, secure, and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled carefully and transported safely. Accurately pick, pack, and process orders for shipment and delivery. Complete delivery documentation, including bills of lading, proof of delivery, signatures, and invoicing paperwork. Load and unload trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against invoices and delivery paperwork for accuracy. Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to schedule pickups and deliveries. Maintain organized inventory, ensuring materials are stored correctly and the warehouse remains clean and safe. Inspect deliveries and shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues to the supervisor immediately. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (training provided if required). Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, safe driving practices, and warehouse safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse, delivery, or distribution environment is preferred. Valid Class 5 driver''s license with a clean driving record and demonstrated experience with local driving and deliveries. Comfortable driving regularly as part of the workday, including customer deliveries and inter-site transfers. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math for inventory and order verification. Forklift certification is an asset (employer willing to train the right candidate). Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods. Strong communication skills when interacting with customers, drivers, and internal teams. Knowledge of order picking, fulfillment, and warehouse distribution processes. Basic computer skills (Outlook); experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or MRP systems is a plus.
