The Scholars personalized tutoring franchise ) in Kanata Lakes and is seeking passionate and enthusiastic part-time Teachers/Tutors for various ages and academic subjects. If you''re looking for a rewarding and challenging work environment, we want to hear from you Job description Small group (maximum 3:1 ratio), individualized tutoring for students ranging in age from from elementary school to university. Bilingual subject specialists in French and English (reading/writing) are needed. Here''s what we''re looking for: Ontario Certified Teachers are preferred, those aspiring to the teaching profession, or those passionate about helping kids succeed. Candidates in Teachers College or university designation towards math and sciences are also encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with students is an asset. Excellent French and English oral and written skills. A passion to help students reach their potential. Exceptionally organized and high attention to detail. Ability to teach groups of up to 3 students. Must be able to effectively teach their subject and level Willing to commit to 6 to 10 hours per week to start. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation below.
