Reporting into the Director - Healthcare, this role - Account Manager (Healthcare) is responsible for creatively growing existing accounts, finding new leads and business accounts. This is a full-time permanent position, working out of our impeccably designed and furnished office. Compensation for this position includes a base salary plus commission incentives. You''ll mostly work from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with irregular or extended hours as projects demand. THE DAY TO DAY Passionately hunt new business opportunities growing your funnel by connecting with your wide network of healthcare administrators, facility managers, clinical planners, A&D firms specializing in healthcare, CRE partners, GC''s and Project Managers. Act as the single point-of-contact for coordinating all dealer activities, services, orders and personnel for each assigned healthcare account and is responsible for the account team''s performance. Provide timely response to healthcare customers'' requests for products, services and/or information. Maintain comprehensive understanding of healthcare customers'' needs, corporate goals, clinical workflows, regulatory considerations, and satisfaction/performance criteria, proposing ways to enhance their spaces for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsible for all client relations and on-going relationships with healthcare client personnel, and client third parties (contractors, A&D firms, clinical consultants, etc.). Oversee all healthcare customer projects and work orders; direct the dealer team for implementation of customer orders and service requests. Ensure a responsible close of sale by obtaining signed sales orders (and terms & conditions, if appropriate), client purchase orders and deposits as required. Stay involved throughout sale implementation to ensure that any bottlenecks or changes in scope are identified and resolved, and that both the healthcare customer and dealership are satisfied. Prepare documents for RFPs, RFQs, bids and tenders specific to healthcare procurement processes. Ensure documentation standards are maintained on all healthcare account activities with a customerfirst service level following processes and procedures. Specify product, pricing, product research, sourcing new products and technical order information including custom requirements suited for healthcare environments (cleanability, infection control, durability). Initiate the service quote requests for deliveries of small and major healthcare orders. Work with manufacturers to obtain lead times, contracts, discounts and pricing for healthcare order quotes. Provide administrative support to ensure accuracy of healthcare orders and a positive customer experience as needed. YOU BRING THE FOLLOWING Your sales background allows you to problem solve using design thinking throughout the sales process along with your in-depth knowledge of their business and needs winning you a seat at the table as a trusted advisor in planning discussions. When a client is ready to order, you will manage expectations from the outset to the finish line. Your clients will know how their project is progressing in relation to key timelines. A strong understanding of relationship management, project management and solid administrative skills are going to be key to the success of this role. These are complex sales, where you''ll manage competing priorities, multiple internal and external stakeholders, and varying deliverables. Your experience in a similarly complex sales environment will be crucial for your success here. The number of projects you''ll have on the go at any given time will vary depending on their size and scope.
