Position Summary Position Title: AZ Driver Location: St.Thomas, ON Duration: Full-time Shift: 3 AM Description: (Change as needed) You will be responsible for transporting a variety of cargo on a trailer while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and securing loads properly. Your role includes conducting pre-trip inspections, managing delivery schedules, and operating the vehicle safely on various routes. Responsibilities: (Change as needed) Start and finish from St.Thomas. Delivering products to various locations Communicating professionally with customers Ensure customer delivery is met in a timely, safe, and professional manner Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicles, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement, and report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs. Must be comfortable with both city and highway driving , regular tight turns and backup into small baces Able to lift 50-100lbs Requirements: (Change as needed) Valid AZ License Minimum 1 of verifiable AZ driving experience and 6 months of Cross-border experience Clean CVOR, abstract, and satisfactory background check Follow company rules and regulations with respect to safety and hours of service Excellent customer service skills Must be willing to do lay over Must be able to do Hand bombing ; helper provided Why work for Canada Cartage?
