About the Role: We are looking for an experienced upfitting professional with strong electrical aptitude to play a key leadership role in our growing vehicle upfitting operation. This position is ideal for someone who has spent real time in a shop, understands complex vehicle and equipment wiring, and can confidently oversee both quality and productivity on builds. This is a hands-on role. You will be actively involved in installations while also helping manage workflow, quality control, and job planning. While formal electrician certification is not required, the successful candidate must be capable of producing clean, professional electrical work that would pass customer inspection and third-party quality reviews. As a newer operation, this role will naturally evolve as the business grows. Flexibility, initiative, and comfort with changing responsibilities are essential. Key Responsibilities: Oversee shop productivity and build quality across all projects Perform and supervise complex electrical installations on vehicles and equipment Ensure all wiring and electrical work meets professional standards and customer QC expectations Assist with quoting labor hours and estimating job timelines Support inventory management, parts tracking, and material planning Coordinate shipping and receiving of parts and equipment Lead by example through hands-on upfitting and installation work as needed Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and build consistency Support training and guidance of other technicians as the shop grows Required Experience & Skills: Proven vehicle upfitting experience Strong electrical aptitude with practical, real-world wiring experience Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and execute complex electrical systems Shop experience with an understanding of workflow, efficiency, and quality control Experience overseeing or coordinating work in a shop environment Familiarity with inventory management and shipping/receiving processes Ability to quote labor hours and assess job scope accurately Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, professional workmanship Comfortable working in a fast-growing operation with evolving responsibilities Compensation & Growth OpportunityHourly Wage: $30$35 per hour, depending on experience, skill level, and demonstrated capability Flexibility exists on either end of the range for the right individual Advancement & Incentives: This role is designed to grow with the business.
