Take it to the next level with a Co-op position with the City of Kelowna We''re on the hunt for passionate, energetic, and versatile individuals to fill a number of Co-op and Career Path Student positions in our Financial Services Department. Duties - Union Duties may include but are not limited to cashier and data processing balancing and reconciliation verbal and written professional communication adherence to legislated requirements receiving, entering and balancing municipal tax submissions collecting, recording and reconciling revenue for various City departments. Co-op and career path positions run from May through August. Enrolment in a formal co-op program is not required. Eligible candidates will be enrolled in and returning to school in the subsequent academic year and have strong communication, teamwork, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Results and Activities - Non union Credentials - Union Enrolled in an education program at post-secondary institution Minimum of three (3) CPA PREP Modules (1 in Accounting or Finance) or equivalent Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
