The Role We are seeking an experienced Scaffold Foreperson to lead crews on commercial and infrastructure projects . This role is suited to a foreperson who enjoys working in structured environments, understands the importance of planning and sequencing, and takes pride in delivering work on schedule, on budget, and to drawing. Key Responsibilities Lead scaffold crews on active commercial and infrastructure projects Execute scaffold builds strictly in accordance with engineered drawings and scope Plan daily and weekly work to meet schedule and labour targets Coordinate materials, access, and sequencing with site supervision Maintain safe, clean, and professional job sites Enforce safety standards and complete required documentation Train and mentor crew members to improve productivity and workmanship Communicate progress, issues, and resource needs clearly with management Physical & Practical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely on a regular basis Ability to work at heights and in outdoor construction environments Valid driver''s license required Reliable personal transportation required Must be able to commute reliably to Westwold, BC, and to job sites throughout the Okanagan region What We''re Looking For 3+ years experience as a Scaffold Foreperson or Lead Hand Strong experience in commercial or infrastructure scaffolding Ability to use technology on phone and PC Ability to read and execute engineered scaffold drawings Ability to draw non engineered scaffolds Proven ability to manage labour efficiently and meet job budgets Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Willingness to join the BCRCC union Formal scaffold training (BCRCC, SIA, or manufacturer-based system scaffold programs) Experience training and developing scaffold crews Strong attention to detail and site organization Compensation & Benefits 40.87 per hour, overtime, paid mileage, means and living out allowance when applicable Pension, benefits, and union protections Opportunities for growth as the company expands Job Types: Full-time, Casual Pay: $40.87 per hour Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Experience: Leadership: 3 years (required) Commercial and/or infrastructure scaffolding: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: Drivers licence and reliable personal vehicle (required) Work Location: In person
