As our Director, Liquidity Management , you will be the ultimate subject matter expert, guiding the institution through a complex and critical regulatory landscape while directly supporting our mission to serve clients better. If you are an experienced Treasury professional driven by high-impact work and strategic influence, this niche position is your next career defining move. As Director, Liquidity Management, you are a driven and influential leader who oversees the liquidity management function, ensuring all internal and regulatory targets are met. You act as the leading subject matter expert on OSFI Liquidity Adequacy Requirements, collaborating with stakeholders across the institution to provide essential insights. By proactively assessing and communicating the liquidity impact of new initiatives and evolving regulatory changes, you play a critical, hands-on role within the Treasury team, directly supporting the growth and resilience of ATB. Responsibilities Lead and Develop: Manage and mentor a high-performing team responsible for all liquidity and cash management activities, fostering a culture of excellence and strategic thinking. Strategic Positioning: Drive the development of both tactical and strategic solutions to enhance liquidity management techniques and positioning. Debt Management: Oversee the debt issuance process, managing ATB''''s relationship through the Wholesale Borrowing Agreement with the Province of Alberta. Regulatory Foresight: Monitor, interpret, and analyze regulatory liquidity trends, communicating material developments and their implications to ATB''''s strategy and operations. Executive Communication: Present and communicate complex liquidity positions and compositions to senior leadership and key stakeholders across the institution. Influence Growth: Act as the subject matter expert to assess and opine on the liquidity impact of new institutional initiatives and product development. Model Integration: Lead the critical work of incorporating new initiatives and product liquidity treatment into existing internal models and frameworks. Qualifications Expert Regulatory Knowledge: Possess expert, current knowledge of the OSFI Liquidity Adequacy Requirements. Core Liquidity Metrics: Proven ability to lead and manage the technical tactics of the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Cumulative Cash Flow (NCF), and the Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR). Financial Market Acumen: A deep understanding of cash management techniques and Bank of Canada facilities. Professional Credentials: A proven Treasury or Liquidity professional, ideally with a CFA charterholder or equivalent designation. Analytical and Leadership Skills: Exceptional analytical, modeling, and presentation skills, coupled with a demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across a complex organization. Additional Information This position has a hybrid work arrangement. On average, this means 3 days on-site per week. Please note that this is subject to change due to business priorities.
