This is a strategic leadership role within our Mechanical & Electrical Practice, focused on delivering high-impact healthcare infrastructure projects across the province and beyond. You will guide a talented team of engineers and designers, drive technical excellence, and foster strong client relationships while contributing to the growth and success of our healthcare portfolio.**Healthcare & Life Sciences Project Portfolio Highlights***As a leader in healthcare infrastructure, AtkinsRalis has contributed to some of Canadas most transformative projects, including:** Vaudreuil-Soulanges Hospital (QC): Currently the largest new hospital project under construction in Quebec, this $2.6B facility will feature 404 beds, 11 operating rooms, and a 41-stretcher emergency department.* Mount Sinai Hospital Womens & Infants Health Program (Phases 1 & 2).* Expansion of the Sainte-Justine Hospital Centre Grandir en Sant.* Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Modernization (QC): Expansion of one of Quebecs largest hospitals with 720 beds and advanced M&E systems.* CHUM Centre Hospitalier de lUniversit de Montral (QC): Long-term operations and maintenance contract for one of the largest hospitals in Quebec.* Eagle Ridge Hospital Emergency Department Upgrade Port Moody (BC).* COVID-19 Emergency Surge Capacity Solutions delivered across Canada, the UK, and the US.## **Your role***Technical & Project Leadership:** Lead the design and delivery of complex mechanical building systems for healthcare facilities including hospitals, long-term care homes, and specialized medical buildings.* Oversee systems such as HVAC, plumbing, medical gases and fire protection.* Ensure technical excellence and compliance with codes (OBC, NBC) and standards.* Apply project management principles to ensure timely and accurate project execution.*Team Development & Mentorship:** Mentor and coach engineers and designers, supporting their career development and technical growth.* Recruit and onboard new team members, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate training opportunities.* Ensure quality assurance and consistency across all deliverables.*Client Engagement & Business Development:** Represent AtkinsRalis in client meetings, industry events, conferences, and technical committees.* Support proposal development, strategic planning, and market growth initiatives.* Maintain and grow relationships with key clients and stakeholders.*Cross-Regional Collaboration:** Collaborate with healthcare teams across Canadaincluding Qubec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Atlantic regionsto share best practices, harmonize technical standards, and build a strong national technical community.* Participate in national knowledge-sharing forums and contribute to the development of innovative, scalable solutions for healthcare infrastructure.## **About you*** Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.* Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical building systems design, with at least 10 years in healthcare projects.* Registered Professional Engineer (PEO).* Experience with AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) is an asset.* Experience with collaborative model (IPD, Alliance, Progressive DB) projects is an asset.* Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing complex healthcare projects.* Strong understanding of healthcare facility operations and infrastructure requirements.* Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.## **Rewards & benefits**Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive at every stage of your life and your career at AtkinsRalis in Canada.Enjoy competitive compensation, employee recognition, and a brilliant range of flexible benefits you can tailor to your health, wellbeing, financial and lifestyle needs.Make the most of diverse opportunities for training and professional development to grow your skills and expertise.And take advantage of our hybrid working culture and generous time-off policies to balance a fulfilling career with your personal life.## **About AtkinsRalis**We''''re , a world-class engineering services and nuclear organization.
