Position Overview As a Legal Counsel you provide advice, guidance, and representation related to commercial laws and application and regulations. You partner with relevant stakeholders to ensure that the company is compliant with applicable commercial law and regulations and company policy. You handle all commercial negotiations, contract drafting in house. Key Responsibilities: Provide legal advice on commercial matters including contract law, business transactions, transfer pricing, intellectual property rights, andand procurement matters Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents such as standard Master Service Agreements, NDAs, SOWs and Change Orders Under the supervision of Senior Counsel, support the organization to be compliant with relevant commercial laws and regulations by collaborate on the creation or review of policies and procedures, conducting audits, and providing relevant training to leaders and team members Partner with business units on commercial due diligence; lead reviews for moderate risk transactions such as new product launches or market expansions Support the resolution of moderate risk commercial disputes by advising to internal stakeholders with minimum supervision, share learnings with other members of the team and support communication efforts Host training/ engagement sessions with clients when required Functional Competencies: Strong knowledge in commercial law including contract law, business regulations, and relevant industry standards Ability to analyze large amounts of information, identifying relevant facts, and propose viable solutions Ability to articulate complex legal concepts and strategies in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing Ability to act independently with moderate supervision/ oversight in non-complex commercial matters Strong negotiation and drafting skills Ability to solve complex problems, to take a new perspective on existing solutions, to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in legal roles related to commercial laws and regulations Law degree from an accredited law school Bar licence is required B2/ C1 oral and written English
