Position: Manager, ISO Coordination Reports to: Vice President, Portfolio Management Responsibilities: Coordinate day-ahead and real-time market submissions for energy, capacity, and ancillary services. Ensure accurate scheduling of generation and load resources across PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, MISO and ERCOT. Monitor real-time system conditions and respond to ISO dispatch instructions. Maintain compliance with ISO tariffs, market rules, and reliability standards. Analyze market trends, pricing mechanisms, and transmission constraints. Prepare reports on ISO settlements, congestion costs, and financial impacts. Support forecasting for load, generation, and renewable integration. Participate in ISO stakeholder meetings, working groups, and advocacy forums. Monitor and communicate rule changes and their commercial implications. Identify and mitigate operational and financial risks related to ISO transactions. Collaborate with trading, origination, and risk teams to optimize positions. Identify and resolve discrepancies, disputes, and variance issues with the ISO/RTO and market participants. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering, economics or related field. (must have) Must have a minimum of 3+ years of ISO/RTO operations or energy markets experience; familiarity with PJM, NYISO, ISONE, ERCOT, or FERC is preferred. Strong understanding of day-ahead and real-time market structures, transmission planning, and settlement processes. Proficiency in energy scheduling platforms and ISO portals. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Strong working knowledge of Wholesale Electricity Market structures, operations, and protocols (Day-Ahead, Real-Time, FTRs, Ancillary Services). Proficiency in data analysis tools, including advanced Microsoft Excel and potentially database/SQL skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex market rules into actionable business insights. Additional Information: Salary Range: The expected annual salary for this role is $90,000$140,000, reflecting the skills and experience required for the position.
