Toronto We are working with a leading national law firm that is looking to expand its L&E group in Toronto. The firm seeks a senior level lawyer, either at the Senior Associate or Counsel level, with a strong management side L&E practice. The role focuses on advising employers on a broad range of labour and employment matters, including employment standards, wrongful dismissal, employment contracts, labour arbitrations, injunctions, collective bargaining, labour disputes, and related employment litigation. The group has less emphasis on human rights matters and more focus on traditional labour and employment advisory and advocacy work. There is no book requirement, though a small portable practice would be viewed positively. Counsel roles may offer reduced billable hour expectations compared to standard associate targets.
