Senior Estimator Glazing / Curtain Wall / Project Coordination City Window & Glass | Hamilton, ON This Role Is Not Entry-Level City Window & Glass is seeking a seasoned, high-performing Estimator with strong commercial glazing and curtain wall experience to join our leadership-driven Estimation team. What Youll Be Responsible For Leading detailed material take-offs and labour costing for commercial glazing and curtain wall projects Reviewing and qualifying tender opportunities through FTP sites and plan rooms Developing accurate, defensible estimates that balance competitiveness and risk Managing job files, documentation, schedules, and purchase orders with precision Supporting project transitions with clean, complete, and accountable handovers Evaluating products and suppliers to improve cost efficiency and system performance Acting as a trusted point of contact for key clients understanding their schedules, standards, and expectations Pricing and negotiating change orders, extras, and scope revisions What Were Looking For Construction or Architectural Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent 5+ years of commercial glazing estimation experience (curtain wall experience is essential) Strong field knowledge and constructability awareness (field + estimating experience is a major asset) Advanced ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts Experience with unitized curtain wall systems , glazing contracts, and Kawneer products preferred AutoCAD, Word and Excel proficiency a must High attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines Confident communicator who can interact with clients, consultants, and internal teams Valid drivers licence with a clean driving record a must What We Offer Top Performers Highly competitive compensation , aligned with experience and performance Union benefits Ongoing education, technical training, and professional development A stable, respected company with real decision-making authority not corporate red tape A challenging, professional environment where experience is valued and recognized The City Window & Glass Advantage We dont chase volume we focus on quality, execution, and long-term relationships .
