Join Our Team as a Full-TimeProcess Leader in York, ON!Your Mission:As theProcess Leader York,you willbe responsible foroverseeing the technical performance of our wet anaerobic digestion (AD) facility, ensuring stable operation, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement within the requirements of site permits and contracts. You willanticipatefuture business needs by developing schedules,operatingprocedures, and supporting new developments in the production of biogas and compost.Hereswhat an ordinary day of work might look like:Monitoring key process parameters (loading rates, retention time, pH, temperature, gas yield, etc.) and adjusting operations to maintain stable and optimized plant performance.Conducting daily SCADA and site audits,identifyingissues, documenting findings, and implementing corrective actions.Troubleshooting process deviations or equipment-related issues,determiningroot causes, and putting preventive measures in place.Leading and supporting the Process Support Team (EITs, coops, lab techs) through coaching, prioritization of tasks, and handson guidance.Collaborating with the Operations Manager and Maintenance Leader to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure safe isolation and preparation procedures.Reviewing sampling and test results, ensuring compliance permits are met, and working with the Compliance Manager on regulatory reporting.Communicating process goals and KPI progress to the York team and ensuring alignment with operational and businessobjectives.Participating in crossdepartment communication with Engineering, Process, and Maintenance teams in Canada and the Netherlands.Hosting or supporting facility tours and providing technical explanations of the process when required.A full job description can be provided upon request to those candidates selected for an interview.This job is for you ifyou:Hold a postsecondary degree or diploma in a sciencerelated field (biology, chemistry, environmental sciences, process engineering, etc.).Bring a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.Possess knowledge of anaerobic digestion processes and biological treatment of organic waste streams (asset).Have experience with SCADA and measuring/control technologies (asset).Demonstrate intermediate computer skills (MS Office, SCADA, ERP).Fluency in English isrequired.Have strong attention to detail and ensureaccurateinput and analysis of information.Are a handson leader who is comfortable being on the floor,observingoperations, and leading by example.Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.Excel at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work in a dynamic operational environment.Bring a pragmatic, analytical, and problemsolving mindset to daily challenges.Are proactive, independent, and open to learning.Value quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching abilities, supporting the growth and development of your team.Hold a valid Driver's License.Compensation package:AnnualSalaryrange of $99,600-$124,500CADPaid time off sick,vacation, volunteeringMedical, Dental, Vision and Life InsuranceWellness programEmployeeAssistance ProgramRRSP with company matchProfit-sharingprogramTuition reimbursementEmployee recognitionAbout the salary range:A reasonable estimate of the pay range is$99,600-$124,500 CADat the time of this posting.
