Overview All Job Posting Locations: Markham, Ontario, Canada, Montral, Quebec, Canada Johnson & Johnson is recruiting a Field Inventory Specialist located in Markham, ON, Canada or Montreal, QC. This is a field-based remote role. We are seeking a detailoriented, resultsdriven professional to manage consigned medical devices within their assigned region. This fieldbased role requires close collaboration with crossfunctional teams, including Sales, Sales & Marketing Operations, Finance, Distribution, and Supply Chain. The successful candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive consignment inventory strategy that manages expiry dates, optimizes regional stock, and aligns with broader business and financial objectives. You will ensure strict adherence to compliance requirements for field inventory processes and will be responsible for timely audits and returns. You will benchmark best practices across the country and recommend innovative practices for implementation within your region. Reporting directly to the Asset Management Lead, you will provide regular updates on progress. Responsibilities Become a consistent Johnson & Johnson presence in the field, fostering collaborative partnerships with customers and the Sales Team while striving for continuous improvement in Asset Management and Inventory Optimization. Field Audits Collaborate with Finance to develop and implement the annual audit risk assessment and strategy, strengthening accountability and compliance across consigned inventory. Lead the scheduling and execution of field audits with the Sales Team to ensure thorough, efficient, and compliant assessments. Reconcile annual field count results by working with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain Planning to identify and resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate reporting. Inventory Management and Optimization Partner with Sales Representatives and Customers to gather insights that enhance inventory accuracy and support effective expiry date management within the region. Analyze product utilization to recommend optimal consigned product mixes, enhance underutilized assets, and reduce expiryrelated risk. Support inventory reduction initiatives and coordinate consignment retrieval activities in collaboration with the Sales Team, contributing to overall inventory optimization efforts. Continuous Improvement Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify return opportunities and ensure accurate, timely documentation for all field inventory activities. Provide strategic guidance and approvals on expiry replacements to improve product availability and operational efficiency. Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes, enhance performance, and maximize the effectiveness of regional inventory management. Qualifications Education : Bachelors Degree required; a degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Bilingual (French and English) is required proficiency in English (written and verbal) is required for this role. Ability to travel up to 50%. Valid Canadian drivers license Experience in Supply Chain or Operations within the medical device industry with knowledge of consigned inventory management. Ability to analyze and manage large data sets to identify trends, gaps, and optimization opportunities. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and proactive problemsolving. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
