As a System Test QA Engineer at Nokia, youll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our cuttingedge optical communication technology. You will design and execute automated test cases using Python, collaborating closely with several crossfunctional teams of developers and testers to add a System and Solution level test scope to our SW feature development. Youll write detailed reports on test execution and defect analysis, enabling swift issue resolution. Qualifications Extensive Handson experience in automated test development using Python Deep Knowledge of optical communication and related technologies Proven experience and expertise on router configurations and deployments Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Effective communication skills for global crossfunctional collaboration Proven knowledge in Agile methodologies and Test Driven Development Nice to have Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) ISTQB or other software testing certifications CCNA / JNCIA certification Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive test plans, creating and executing automated test cases in Python to meet project specifications. Collaborate closely with crossfunctional software development teams during release scope definitions and backlog refinement ensuring alignment on project goals. Explore, plan and execute testing of Nokia opticalpluggable products into third party equipment, to ensure Solution level compatibility. Generate detailed reports on test execution and defect analysis, improving the reproducibility and resolution of issues to enhance product quality. Participate in continuous improvement discussions to promote the adoption of innovative approaches in quality assurance and testing. Utilize and integrate version control systems like Git to maintain test scripts and documentation effectively within the agile development workflow.
