Job Title: Contracts Administrator Reporting to the Senior Contracts Lead, the Contracts Administrator supports the Contracts Department by preparing, reviewing, negotiating, and administering a wide range of contracts related to mining operations, and site services. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of contracts, amendments, and related documentation, while maintaining strong communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors. This is a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract position, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation Draft, review, negotiate, and administer consulting, service, equipment, rental, lease, and supply contracts. Review and vet vendor standard terms and conditions to ensure alignment with Skeenas commercial, legal, and risk requirements. Contract Administration & Compliance Ensure contracts comply with company standards, internal policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Manage the full contract lifecycle, including document control, versioning, change management, and expiry monitoring. Maintain accurate and organized contract registers and digital filing systems. Support tendering processes (RFPs/RFQs), including scope reviews, bidder communications, and maintenance of submission logs using platforms such as Aconex. Coordinate contract clarifications, vendor inquiries, and document submissions. Liaise with site personnel, project teams, and vendors to confirm scope alignment and resolve contractual issues. Contract Execution & Reporting Manage contract execution and signature workflows using e-signature platforms such as DocuSign. Prepare contract reports, status updates, and documentation required for audits and compliance reviews. Support and uphold Skeenas commitments related to Indigenous participation, procurement, and project requirements where applicable. Additional Responsibilities All other duties as reasonably assigned. Education / Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Paralegal/Legal Studies, Project Management, or related field. Candidates should be a member of, and either hold, have an equivalent of, or be actively working toward one of the following designations: SCMP (Supply Chain Management Professional) Supply Chain Canada CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) Applicants actively progressing toward these professional designations will be fully considered. Experience / Skills 57+ years of progressive experience in contract administration, preferably within the mining, construction, or industrial sectors. Proven experience negotiating consulting, service, equipment, rental, and supply contracts. Strong understanding of commercial terms, risk allocation, and contractual compliance requirements. Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple contracts and priorities under tight deadlines. Experience supporting tenders, master service agreements (MSAs), and amendment workflows. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint/OneDrive, and electronic signature platforms (e.g., DocuSign). Advanced analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills. Detailoriented with exceptional attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exhibits a high degree of responsibility and discretion when handling confidential information. Effective team player who can step in wherever needed while also working independently with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and reasoning skills with a collaborative, solutionfocused mindset. Work Location & Conditions This is an officebased job, in Skeenas Corporate office located in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Monday to Friday schedule. Additionally, the job is in a fast paced, and at times stressful working environment, with having to manage multiple competing priorities. Some flexibility in work location may be considered. Compensation The expected salary range for this position is CAD $90,000-$110,000, in line with the competitive job market for such roles carried out in British Columbia. Salary ranges are guidelines and any job offer received by a candidate will be determined on a number of factors such as relevant education, training, and/or experience.
