Located on the Traditional Territory of the Kwanlin Dn First Nation and Ta'an Kwch'n Council, public schools in Whitehorse are operated by three school authorities: Yukon Education (), First Nation School Board () and Commission scolaire francophone du Yukon (). Together, we are looking for teacher on calls for the 2025/2026 school year. Teacher on calls replace regular classroom teachers or education assistants on an as needed basis. They are responsible for delivering set lesson plans, maintaining the positive learning climate of the school, managing students and expectations in the classroom and broader learning environments, and collaborating with other educators as needed to ensure the success of the students in their class. Supervising students during recess/lunch breaks as well as participating in arrival and dismissal duties may also be part of the daily responsibilities.
