Applications without access to a vehicle will not be considered.Position Overview MC Behavioural Services is seeking a motivated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our growing team. In this role, you will work directly with clients to implement individualized behaviour intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, independence in the field, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with diverse needs. This position typically starts on a part-time basis, with opportunities for increased hours as the caseload expands. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized behaviour intervention programs and ABA strategies as directed by the supervising BCBA. Modify and adapt programs under BCBA guidance based on client progress and needs. Collect accurate and timely data on programs and target behaviours. Complete clear, objective, and professional session notes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including Social Workers, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, and other support staff when required. Deliver ABA services independently in clients'' homes and community settings without daily supervision. Maintain required billable hours along with assigned administrative responsibilities. Communicate consistently with the Manager regarding availability, scheduling, and any changes in client needs or circumstances. Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will possess: A diploma in Behavioural Sciences, a Bachelor''s degree in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field OR enrollment in or completion of a Master''s program in Applied Behaviour Analysis. BCaBA certification or active progress toward BCBA certification is considered an asset. At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, high-risk behaviours, dual diagnoses, or mental health challenges. Strong understanding and application of ABA principles and techniques. Ability to follow organizational policies and adhere to the BACB Professional and Ethical Compliance Code. Commitment to client confidentiality and compliance with provincial legislation (e.g., PHIPA, Child, Youth and Family Services Act, Quality Assurance standards). Excellent time-management, flexibility, and organizational skills to manage evolving caseloads effectively. Requirements Valid Ontario G-Class driver''s license. Reliable, insured vehicle for commuting to client locations. Clear and current Vulnerable Sector Check. Valid First Aid and CPR certification. Current Safe Management (or equivalent) training. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to make sound clinical decisions and maintain professionalism in the field.
