What You''ll Do (With Our Training + Your Expertise) Respond to a wide range of service calls scheduled, emergency, and afterhours with professionalism and urgency Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and commission complex electronic security systems Use advanced technical skills to isolate issues in hardware, software, and integrated systems Provide clear, effective solutions to customers and complete repairs or replacements as needed Produce accurate, detailed service reports for invoicing and project tracking Offer technical support to end users and junior technicians Mentor less experienced team members and share your knowledge Ensure all work meets Canadian Smart Systems'' high standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Represent the company as a trusted, reliable service partner What You''ll Need Strong customer focus and the ability to stay composed under pressure Advanced technical experience with electronic security systems Proven programming and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (comfortable using hand and power tools) Valid driver''s licence and willingness to travel to job sites Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and interpersonal Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple service calls High proficiency with computers and MS Office applications Requirements Minimum 5 years of field service experience Diploma in Electronics preferred Relevant trade experience is an asset Industry certifications (Lenel, Genetec, CCure, AMAG, Kantech, Avigilon, etc.) are strong assets Benefits & Perks Canadian Smart Systems offers a supportive, inclusive environment where you can grow your career and feel valued every step of the way.
