Reference Number: 30241 Jardeg is recruiting Electrician Forepersons to join the Caresland Orica Turnaround in Alberta on a 6 days on and 1 day off rotation. This is an expression of interest. This scope will include but is not limited to MCC change outs, all wiring, temp power and panel cleaning. Electricians install, alter, repair, and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signal, or fire alarms for all types of buildings, structures, and premises. We are looking for personnel with maintenance experience in plant-based settings and willing to provide training in areas where required. Responsibilities: Experienced Foreperson with skills and ability to lead team of Journeypersons and Apprentices. Assigning daily tasks and performing front line supervision for a crew of 8 to 12 workers. Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections and complete follow-up activities. Complete daily activity reports/daily logs and submit them to Supervisor Promote and ensure the FLRA (Field Level Risk Assessment) process is conducted before every task with the crew. Review weekly service and preventative maintenance schedules Reports back to the clients and/or the Project Manager on the progress of the job, the estimated time to completion and employee evaluations Ensure all new hires/transfers receive required orientations.
