Whitehouse Windows & Doors specialize in custom home and multi-family window and door installations. We are seeking Window Installers & Skilled Labourers to join our team. You will participate in projects in the Calgary area and follow construction plans and instructions as required. This is a full time position. To be successful in this position, you must be hard-working, reliable, and be able to perform physical tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES Installation of commercial windows and doors including installation of sealed units and various glass applications Operate site equipment such as various lifts, hand and power tools Loading/Unloading of materials, tools, and equipment Maintain a safe and clean working environment Other general laborer duties as required JOB REQUIREMENTS 5 years experience in construction Must have Fall Protection certification Must be able to lift heavy objects Must own proper PPE Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation Have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting Lift certification and First Aid are considered an asset Journeymen Carpenter is considered an asset WORK ENVIRONMENT Outdoors in all temperatures, working at heights, safety sensitive work sites. Physically demanding: standing, bending, kneeling. Work site: Construction which requires full PPE (hard hats, CSA steel toed boots, safety glasses/goggles, high viz). TEAM WORK Each individual must have the ability to adapt and support the needs of the dynamic working environment in the field.
