Financial Accountant Employment Type Permanent Location Ottawa, Ontario Apply SHARE THIS JOB Job Description: Our client, a well-established real estate company in Ottawa is looking for a Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Controller, this position will be responsible for: Complete monthly reconciliations of bank accounts and GLs Assist with creation and monitoring of corporate and operating budgets Process and reconcile construction draws, progress billings, and retention payments Track project budgets, commitments, change orders, and actual costs Work closely with project managers and cross functional teams spanning across the entire organization Contribute to cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities Assist with the overview of accounts payable and receivable cycles, ensuring timely billing and receipts Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes Job Requirements: 2-3 years relevant accounting experience Pursuing or has CPA designation Strong attention to detail, data accuracy and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication and business acumen Self-motivated Additional Information: This role is for a current vacancy Apply
