We''re looking for a Commercial Manager who can lead the commercial strategy on a largescale, highly regulated project. Someone who understands how projects are built, how contracts behave under pressure, and how to protect value while enabling teams to succeed. This is an active opportunity for a highcalibre commercial professional ready to step into a role with real influence. Lead the Commercial Team and set the commercial strategy for a major project. Manage Change Orders endtoend, producing rigorous, evidencebased commercial cases for entitlement, pricing, and claims. Chair or participate in risk, trend, and change control forums. Lead claim management and dispute resolution with clarity and confidence. Identify and execute strategies that enhance project profitability. Ensure contract and procedural compliance across all commercial activities. Advise on contract negotiations and commercial positioning. Provide proactive commercial guidance to project leadership, engineering, construction, and procurement. Work closely with Construction Managers, Superintendents, Safety, Quality, and Project Controls to assess design changes and constructability impacts. Support executivelevel reporting and commercial presentations to internal and external stakeholders. Travel to the remote project site in Ontario for approximately one week per month (expenses reimbursed). Qualifications MustHave Requirements These are nonnegotiable and required for success in the role. 8+ years of direct experience in a project role with a midsize to large general contractor Commercial/Contract management experience in a complex project environment Strong understanding of complex contracts Proficiency in cost estimation, forecasting, scheduling, risk management, and reporting Proficient in contract management and negotiation Solid understanding of construction trades, safety, and construction techniques Knowledge of construction industry trends and regulations University degree in a constructionrelated field, or equivalent experience Major project experience on projects valued at $1B+ Ability to travel frequently to local and offsite project locations, supported by a valid driver''s licence Ability to meet federal security clearance requirements for work on a nuclear project, including three consecutive years of verifiable residency in Canada or another country recognized under the project''s security framework Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results through collaboration Strong mentorship and coaching capability High level of selfawareness, an entrepreneurial mindset, and established personal values Ability to thrive in a highly regulated, technically complex project environment Strong Assets These significantly strengthen a candidate''s profile and are highly preferred.
