If so, we invite you to apply for the Packaging Coordinator position in our Shipping department. Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm In this role, you will be responsible to: Work as a member of the shipping team focusing on efficiency, safety, and quality Navigate internal schedule systems to successfully release orders for daily packaging Order and organize parts for packaging Package and label all parts received from Production Store and organize sorting bins on the dock Manage all courier trips Ensure accuracy on internal information systems Release all stops on courier trips Pick and scan all required parts, applying extra packaging as needed Document details and/or changes Prepare packages for pick-up with third party couriers, including UPS World Ship Create and manage shipping orders (SO) Weigh packages Create, print, and apply labels Flex and cross train as required Order, pick and organize parts for packaging Other duties as assigned You will bring: Ability to read, write, and speak English Effective interpersonal and communication skills Customer focused Strong mathematical skills Comfortable using a computer, navigating third party courier sites Focus on safety, quality, and precision details Ability to frequently lift 50lbs+ with assistance Organized, punctual, collaborative and displays team commitment The following will be considered assets: Experience with third party courier systems. Experience in manufacturing, or shipping/receiving considered. Knowledge and experience in Lean principles Why work at Loewen?
