We are currently recruiting Construction Workers to work on various high-rise constructionprojectsin the downtown Edmonton area. Learn to operate skid steer, zoom boom, aerial work platform and more Culture Weare growing fast, so those who can take charge, learn, be accountable and lead others will be recognized quickly and grown from within to fill future leadership roles Duties/ Responsibilities Dependent on your background and experience, duties may include: Assist trades with any duties theyneedhelp with Inventory counting and management Unloading and loading materials Site cleanup and organization (housekeeping) Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary hoarding, guardrails Digging trenches, chipping concrete, snow removal, flagging, pour watching Operate skid steer, zoom boon, aerialwork platform (internal training provided) Rigging Working Conditions 40hours per week. Most shifts start at 7:00 am but hours may vary based on site requirements. Overtime and work on weekends as required. On average, our workers typically work around 50 hours per week. Long term, steady, year-round work One paid 15-minutebreakand one hour unpaid lunch break per day Combination of inside and outside work. Appropriate dress required. Working at heights. Competencies Ability to work well in a team and independently Positive attitude towards safety Punctual and reliable Self-motivated Willingto learn Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, physically fit Requirements Steel toe boots required WHMIS 2015 required (we can provide) CSTS 2020 Fundamentals for those with less than five years experience (we can provide) Rigging experience is considered an asset Ability to run a skid steer, zoom boom or AWP is considered an asset Reliable transportation to and from the job site. Most sites are accessible by public transportation. Prior concrete, carpentry or general construction experience considered an asset.
