Job Summary: As a Mechanic Helper, you''ll work alongside experienced technicians, providing essential support in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various trucks and heavy-duty vehicles. Key Responsibilities: * Assist lead mechanics with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs. * Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. * Clean and organize the workshop, tools, and equipment. * Retrieve parts and supplies as needed for repair jobs. * Help with vehicle preparation and movement within the shop. * Maintain a safe and clean work environment. * Learn and follow all safety procedures and company policies. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics is a plus, but not required. * Strong willingness to learn and take direction. * Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions. * Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. * Valid driver''s license preferred. * Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team.
