Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a professional and organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required. The Receptionist will play a vital role in maintaining a welcoming environment and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or specialized scheduling software Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using QuickBooks or other accounting software Handle filing, document organization, and general clerical tasks to support office operations Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and courteously Assist with administrative duties such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and supporting team members Support bookkeeping activities and maintain financial records as needed Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organized, and welcoming Requirements Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or as a front desk receptionist Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and data entry applications Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in typing and proofreading Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with multi-line phone systems and front desk operations preferred Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience is advantageous * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional administrative training is beneficial Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
