Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in dealership or retail sales. This role involves managing the sales pipeline, developing customer relationships, and driving high-end sales to meet dealership goals. Bilingual abilities in Spanish are highly preferred to serve a diverse customer base effectively. The Used Car Manager will oversee daily operations, support sales staff, and ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained. Responsibilities Lead and manage the used car sales team to achieve monthly targets and maximize profitability Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, B2B sales, and outside sales initiatives Negotiate deals effectively with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes Oversee the entire sales process from initial contact to closing, including upselling high-end vehicles Support the sales team with marketing strategies, customer service excellence, and organizational skills Conduct regular training sessions on phone etiquette, communication skills, and sales techniques Manage inventory levels, pricing strategies, and dealership marketing efforts to attract high-quality buyers Build and maintain relationships with customers to foster repeat business and referrals Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction Skills Proven experience in dealership or retail sales management, especially in used car sales Strong outside sales skills with the ability to generate new business opportunities Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on high-end sales and upselling techniques B2B sales experience is highly desirable for expanding dealership partnerships Multilingual capabilities, particularly bilingual proficiency in Spanish, to serve diverse clients effectively Exceptional communication skills both over the phone and in person Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts and maintaining an efficient workflow Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to automotive retail environments Proficiency in using a sales pipeline management system and supporting CRM tools Customer service oriented with a professional demeanor and phone etiquette This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to lead a thriving used car department while utilizing their extensive sales expertise.
