RESPONSIBILITIES This position will be responsible for the overall operations of the caf and their duties will include but not be limited to: o Work with Shipping and Receiving staff to double check outbound orders. o Matching invoices to outbound orders. o Help creative daily manifest. o Work with Shipping and Receiving staff to load truck with following deliveries according to manifest. o Perform daily truck checklist before deliveries; inform Shipping and Receiving Manager for any concerns or issues. o Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport coffee beans to various customer locations o Provide excellent customer service at each delivery stop o Have all packing receipts signed by receiving end return to orderesk. o Collect invoices from 49th Cafes and return it to AP department. o All gas receipts are provided to AP department. o Assist shipping and receiving after deliveries time permitted. o Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues o Wash and vacuum the truck as necessary. o Follow all safety, traffic, and company policies and procedures *Other duties and special projects may be assigned from time to time. The schedule for this position is 700am - 330 pm (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday) QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: o Valid class 5 BC driver license o A clean driver''s abstract from the past 5 years, with no major infractions o Previous delivery and driving experience preferred o Able to lift up 50lbs regularly. o Strong time management and organizational skills o Friendly, professional demeanor with good communication skills o Familiarity with Google Maps o Able to work under pressure to meet the deadlines o Acts as a positive ambassador to the 49th Company values and reputation o Have a positive outlook and be able to effectively receive and communicate feedback o Passion for coffee and interest in the specialty coffee industry is a plus Job Type: Part-time Pay: $22.56 per hour Expected hours: 24 per week Benefits: On-site parking Store discount Experience: delivery driver: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Class 5 Licence (required) Work Location: In person
