Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team at Revive Dental Clinic. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the dental office and supporting both the clinical and administrative teams. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival. Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed. Confirm appointments, follow up with patients on appointment reminders. Manage and update patient schedules for maximum efficiency. Answer phone calls, emails, and messages promptly, providing information and answering inquiries. Maintain accurate and updated patient records in the practice management system. Handle patient data entry, including personal and medical history forms. Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients. Process and submit insurance claims, follow up on claims, and resolve any billing issues. Collect patient payments, co-pays, and manage outstanding balances. Educate patients on office policies, fees, and procedures. Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and treatment plans as directed by the dental team. Maintain office cleanliness and ensure the waiting area is welcoming and organized. Handle supply orders and inventory management. Requirements Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Dental receptionist or dental admin experience an asset . Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a dental or medical office setting preferred. Language : Speaking Chinese language -mandarin/Cantonese an asset Outspoken and good marketing skills to help growing business. Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. Proficiency in office software- (Tracker ,Microsoft Office Suite, dental practice management software). Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance protocols is an advantage.
