MaKami College is seeking a Practicum Administrator to support practicum coordination for students in the Early Learning and Childcare (ELCC) program. This role ensures students receive a positive, well organized, and meaningful practicum experience while maintaining strong relationships with practicum sites and community partners. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage practicum placements for ELCC students. Secure and maintain partnerships with early learning centers and community agencies. Support students with placement preparation, including rsum and job readiness workshops. Provide ongoing mentorship and assist with student concerns during practicum. Track placements, documentation, and student progress using Moodle, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office tools. Support faculty and Practicum Instructors with site visits and communication. Maintain accurate records and assist with practicum-related events such as orientations and career fairs. Qualifications Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or related field (preferred). Certificate in Early Learning and Child Care is an asset. Minimum 2 years of experience in practicum coordination or administrative roles. Experience in early childhood or daycare settings is preferred. Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, and learning management systems (e.g., Moodle). Ability to build strong relationships and support diverse student needs.
