Job Description CIMA+ is seeking a candidate to join its team. We are looking for someone who is eager to take on challenges and ready to become part of a dynamic and rapidly growing team. CIMA+ is a well-established multidisciplinary company operating on the Canadian national market. The Senior SCADA & Intelligent Energy Systems Engineer contributes to the design and integration of industrial computer systems. The selected candidate will support the development of transportation network projects as well as the development of new opportunities in the energy sector. The candidate, with industry expertise in automation and SCADA architecture design, will be called upon to play a consulting role. With excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, the candidate will act as a Representative CIMA+ and will work closely with clients to ensure they are served effectively and professionally. Self-motivated and proactive, the candidate demonstrates strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. The position is not tied to a specific office location. A significant portion of the work may also be carried out remotely. Primary Responsibilities Support and play a key role with clients in the planning, design, and implementation of systems Design SCADA and IT architectures, as well as control and command interfaces for transportation or energy networks Define sequences, protocols, PLC logic, and performance and redundancy requirements Act as a technical expert for transportation, energy, and digital teams Participate in the planning and supervision of technical reviews, testing, validation, and commissioning activities Support the development of new project opportunities Produce system design deliverables Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external clients, understand their needs, and translate them into technical solutions Facilitate and lead technical meetings and workshops Qualifications Between 10 and 20 years of strong, relevant experience in industrial SCADA, control systems, and industrial IT Experience in one or more relevant sectors: Energy (utilities), Manufacturing / process industries, Critical infrastructure (rail transportation, tunnels, airports), Complex buildings Proficiency in industrial protocols: OPC UA, Modbus/IP, SNMP, IEC 61850 (asset) Experience with PLC programming (IEC 61131) and redundant system architectures Strong technical leadership, curiosity, systems-oriented mindset, and solid communication skills Professional Engineer in good standing with the OIQ Bilingual (English/French), both spoken and written: bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position, as it enables effective collaboration with our diverse stakeholders For more information, please contact Ibrahima Amadou LY At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
