Fixed Term Full time until January 19th, 2029 POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Health Manager, the Primary Care Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive and coordinated nursing care within a community-based, interprofessional team environment. The Primary Care Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). This position delivers client and family-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of health interventions that promote wellness, disease prevention, and management of chronic and acute health conditions. The Nurse provides care across settingsincluding clinics, homes, outreach, and virtual environmentsand ensures clients and families have access to timely, holistic, and culturally safe health services. The position applies a trauma-informed, equity-based, and culturally respectful approach that honours Indigenous knowledge and promotes self-determination, dignity, and independence for all community members.
