As a Clinical Respiratory Consultant, you will provide comprehensive respiratory services, focusing on oxygen therapy, clinical and ventilatory support, and sleep diagnostics and therapeutics. Conduct appointments and setup of equipment for sleep diagnostic testing based on American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) guidelines. Evaluate client therapies based on referrals and then determine respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians. Initiate PAP therapy when prescribed, providing patients with education, instructions of use, and cleaning and maintaining of their equipment. Provide appropriate regular followup to clients to evaluate effects of therapeutic care, recommending adjustments and modifications if required to increase compliance and comfort with therapy. Actively promote related products and provide solutions to client needs. Maintain uptodate continuing education as related to the position to ensure clients receive the most current therapies and devices. Recognize the importance of client safety in the Air Liquide Healthcare organization. Follow established company protocols for the cleaning and disinfection of all equipment. Complete all required administration tasks and maintain knowledge of all funding processes and systems. Ensure quality documentation through completion of all company documentation and forms (both digital and nonelectronic) as per policy. Maintain client confidentiality and protect Air Liquide Healthcares operations by keeping information confidential. Seek continuous improvement of branch operations by evaluating processes and workflow, and participating in other quality improvement activities. Provide new staff and student instruction, supervision, and evaluation when necessary. Participate in oxygen and other respiratory services, including oncall when required. Are you a MATCH? Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered Nurse or RPN/LPN RPSGT or CCSH College Certificate or Diploma in a Technical/Medical Science field where permitted Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body Good knowledge of Obstructive Sleep Apnea and CPAP therapy Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and Android Additional Information Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.
