Position Overview Do you enjoy working with agriculture equipment technology to optimize farming operations? Do you have a knack for understanding numbers, raw data and translating it to usable information? We have an opening in our Precision Agriculture department for a product specialist. Role Summary Working closely yet independently with the Precision Agriculture team, your role is to participate in leading the dealerships John Deere Precision Agriculture strategy and other aligned technology to our internal and external customers. This includes conducting infield equipment optimization, display orientation and other facilitation opportunities. You will use your understanding of cropping and agronomic practices to provide solutions for equipment configuration, then organize and analyze customer field data to optimize yields. Have a solutions approach mindset to identify existing/emerging customer needs Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills Adaptable to changing situations and the ability to work flexible hours and travel to customers and other store locations Could travel to the United States if required Selection Criteria Minimum 2 years post secondary education from a reputable, related school Minimum of twoyears experience in an agriculturerelated role, farming background preferred John Deere agriculture equipment experience preferred with dealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience a strong asset Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office 365 and remote internet functions. Knowledge and experience of agriculture data management platforms such as JDLink, GPS, John Deere Operations Center, My John Deere and other thirdparty platforms is a strong asset. Valid Saskatchewan drivers license required Living in the community listed on the job posting or within a 50 km radius of the location is required Compensation & Benefits Our compensation is competitive to market and is reviewed annually.
