Financial Controller FT Permanent On Site Starting at $90,000 Comprehensive Benefits and DCP TheThunder Bay International Airport Authorityis seeking a detail-focused leader to take our financial practices to the next level! Under the supervision of the CFO, theFinancial Controllerwill responsible for: Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions Overseeing the finance staff and performance management practices Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data Monitoring and controlling cash flow through AP/AR Creating and completing financial reporting (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) including preparing internal and external financial statements Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes Evaluating accounting and internal control systems Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed Regulatory reporting, frequently including tax planning and compliance; Planning and setting of priorities as a result of multiple demands and tight deadlines; Tracking and modifying documents showing the financial authority of TBIAAI staff; Ideal Qualifications: CPA Certification preferred 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing a team of 2 or more Experience in unionized environment Experience working in a non-profit financial setting Experience administering accounting and payroll systems (NAV, Business Central, ADP) IF you are a tactful Finance Professional looking to join a forward-thinking team, apply today, and let your career SOAR with the Thunder Bay Airport Authority!
